
DSET will host its annual forum on June 14, bringing together international experts to explore Taiwan’s cooperation with global partners in semiconductor, AI, energy security, and drone-related supply chains.
Speakers include former government officials, corporate executives, and senior scholars from Taiwan, the United States, Ukraine, France, Japan, South Korea, and Australia. For the first time, senior representatives from U.S. AI giant #Palantir and #Skydio, a drone company sanctioned by China for selling to Taiwan, will join the discussion in Taipei.

For the first time, Palantir Technologies, a rising AI player in U.S. defense and intelligence sectors, will send a senior representative to Taiwan. The discussion will highlight democratic cooperation in AI and foundational models.

As China accelerates its global drone exports, this session highlights alternative models of collaboration among democracies. Skydio, a U.S. drone company sanctioned by China, will share its experience supporting Ukraine and building secure partnerships in Asia.
Representatives from Taiwan’s UAV industry and the Ukrainian military will discuss supply chain breakthroughs, battlefield feedback, and countering China’s growing influence in drone manufacturing.
