Cybersecurity Risk Advisory

DSET has recently identified potential phishing email activity wherein unauthorized parties may attempt to impersonate DSET or its representatives.

To protect your personal information and ensure data security, we kindly request that all recipients of correspondence purportedly from DSET adhere to the following cybersecurity protocols:

  1. Sender Authentication: Upon receipt of any unfamiliar or suspicious email, carefully scrutinize the sender’s email address to verify its authenticity as a legitimate address associated with DSET.
  2. Refrain from Engaging with Suspicious Links or Attachments: Exercise caution by avoiding any interaction—specifically, clicking or downloading—related to links or attachments that appear unfamiliar or are not clearly verified.
  3. Exercise Caution with Requests for Sensitive Information: In the event an email requests sensitive data (e.g., personal contact numbers, identification numbers), and the source is ambiguous or unconfirmed, abstain from sharing such information until verified.

Report Potential Phishing Attempts: Should you encounter any email suspected of fraudulently representing DSET, please contact us immediately at contact@dset.tw for verification and support in mitigating potential security risks.
