Israeli Representative Maya Yaron Visits DSET to Discuss Taiwan-Israel Cooperation in Technology and Education

On February 25, Maya Yaron, Representative of the Israel Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei, visited the Center for the Research Institute for Democracy, Society, and Emerging Technology (DSET) for an in-depth exchange on AI governance, cybersecurity, technological innovation, and education.

Representative Yaron highlighted Israel’s extensive experience in AI applications and cybersecurity, expressing hopes for deeper collaboration with Taiwan and enhanced think tank dialogues.

DSET President Dr. Wen-Ling Tu noted that Israel’s advancements in cybersecurity and innovation offer valuable insights. She also mentioned the importance of fostering collaboration and strengthening educational exchanges between the two sides.
