Cyryl Kozaczewski, Representative of the Polish Office in Taipei, and Deputy Representative Lukasz Weremiuk visited the DSET on March 11 to discuss strengthening the resilience of democratic supply chains. The discussions particularly focused on the potential for cooperation between Taiwan and Poland in the semiconductor and drone industries.
DSET Director Wen-Ling Tu noted that with TSMC establishing a plant in Europe, DSET has placed greater emphasis on Taiwan-Europe semiconductor collaboration. Last year (2024), DSET led a delegation to Europe, visiting companies and government agencies in the Czech Republic and Germany, and hosting an international forum in Berlin to engage with local think tanks. As Taiwan and Poland deepen their semiconductor supply chain cooperation, DSET aims to enhance future exchanges with Poland.
DSET CEO Chih-Cheng Chang emphasized that beyond semiconductors, DEST is also focused on Taiwan-Europe drone industry cooperation. Over the past months, DSET has conducted extensive consultations with Taiwanese manufacturers to explore potential partnerships between Taiwan and various European countries. Given the frequent interactions between the Taiwanese government, industry leaders, and Poland, DSET looks forward to fostering further exchanges and collaboration with the Polish Office and Poland’s drone industry in the future.
