Cartus Bo-Xiang You is currently a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Geography, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. His research focuses on industrial digital transformation policies in Europe and East Asia, with particular interest in how the platformization of information intermediaries reshapes market organization. He seeks to re-embed regulatory agenda involving environment, labor, and human rights into the governance practices and their implications on the de-/coupling dynamics of global production networks (GPNs). His research at DSET centers on the energy resilience of infrastructure, particularly energy security issues arising during digital and sustainable transitions. He completed his master’s thesis at National Taiwan University on the territoriality of data governance and has also been visiting at the University of California, Berkeley.
