Chia-Lin Yang

Dr. Chia-Lin Yang received her Ph.D. degree from Duke University. She is currently a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU) and serves as the Deputy Director of the Parliamentary Technology Policy Advisory Office. She previously held positions as the Executive Secretary of the Office of Science and Technology at NSTC, the Director of the Delta-NTU Joint Research Center, and the Director of the Graduate Institute of Networking and Multimedia at NTU.

Dr. Yang’s research focuses on computing platform design, with a particular emphasis on innovative AI computing platform design, low-power systems, and memory hierarchy/SSD storage. She has served as the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Computer Architecture Letters and the Program Chair for DAC 2025. She has received the IBM Faculty Award, Best Paper Awards at ISLPED 2009 and NVMSA 2022, the Outstanding Electrical Engineering Professor Award from the Chinese Electrical Engineering Association, and the Outstanding Research Award from NSTC.
