Dr. Hahn-Ming Lee is the founding Director of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. His research expertise includes information security, Web-Based Intelligent Systems, neural networks, artificial intelligence, Science and Technology Policy, and digital convergence. From 2002 to 2004, he served as the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Science and Technology Advisory Group in the Executive Yuan, where he played a pivotal role in planning and promoting the e-Taiwan Project. In 2020, as a cybersecurity expert and scholar, he was officially appointed as a consultant to the National Security Council. Under the national strategic development directive of “Cybersecurity is National Security 2.0,” he is a key figure responsible for drafting Taiwan’s cybersecurity strategy, ensuring its implementation, and promoting cybersecurity as a core national strategic industry.
