Dr. Hsien-Ming Lien is currently an Associate Dean of the International College of Innovation, Director of the Taiwan Studies Center, and Professor at the Department of Public Finance, National Chengchi University, where he teaches health systems, health economics, and econometrics. He is also the Chair of the Taiwan Health Economists Association. He earned his B.S. from National Taiwan University and Ph. D. from Boston University. His research focuses on 1) physician’s behavior; 2) the impact of the NHI program on the health care market; 3) the impact of copayment on health care use.
