Jin Chian Seer is currently focused on semiconductor industrial policy in Southeast Asia and regional economic security issues, particularly the political and economic interactions and strategic linkages between Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries, committed to advancing technology governance and resilient industrial development within democratic systems. His research interests span political thought and science and technology policy, with a particular focus on democratic theory, international relations, political communication, and church-state relations. He previously worked at an industrial association, where he participated in the implementation of government-funded projects, gaining practical experience in policy coordination and interagency communication, integrating theory and practice. Jin Chian Seer holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from National Chengchi University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and Policy.
