Penghsuan Lee

Penghsuan Lee is the Deputy Director of the Communication team. Her research focused on human rights in China and its implications for the international human rights agenda. Her primary areas of interest include human rights in the Indo-Pacific region, democratic governance, civil society development, and the impact of civic technology on society. She has worked on political and social advocacy and is deeply engaged in local and international civil society organizations in Taiwan and the world. Her previous roles include the East Asia Coordinator at the International Tibet Network and Program Manager at the Taiwan Office of the National Democratic Institute (NDI). She earned her Master’s degree from National Taiwan University, majoring in political science.
