Sylvia Chen is a policy analyst at the Economic Security Program at DSET. With over a decade of experience across the U.S., EU, and East Asia — including a Fellowship at the Robert Bosch Stiftung and roles at U.S. and German law firms — she practiced trade law, advising clients on U.S. antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, sanctions and export controls, and U.S. and EU trade policy. At DSET, her research focuses on the regulatory and strategic dimensions of advanced technology supply chain security, U.S. export controls, and regulatory alignment. She brings practitioner-level expertise to DSET’s policy research.
