Ta-Chen Chen is an S.J.D. candidate at the George Washington University Law School, where he focuses on the law of the sea and national security policies. He focuses on maritime security, national security law, and crisis simulation. His work at DSET includes submarine cable protection, maritime quarantine targeting energy supply, and several tabletop exercise designs. Before joining DSET, he was a staff member at the Taiwan National Security Council. He holds an LL.M. degree in National Security Law from Georgetown University Law Center and an LL.M. degree from National Taiwan University College of Law.
