Dr. Tsung-Tsong Wu is now the Chairman of board of directors,
Industrial Technology Research Institute(ITRI). He is also the
Emeritus Professor at National Taiwan University.
For the past three decades, he has held several administrative posts,
mainly namely, Director of the Institute of Applied Mechanics(1997-
2000), Deputy Executive Secretary of the Science and Technology
Advisory Group of the Executive Yuan (2004-2005), Deputy Minister of
the National Science Council (2006-2008), President of the Society of
Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Republic of China(2006-
2008).Chairman of the board of directors, ITRI (2016-2017), Minister
of the Ministry of Science and Technology(2020-2022),and Deputy
Convenor of the Board of Science and Technology of Executive
Yuan(2016-2023).
In recent years, he has served as the Minister without Portfolio of
Executive Yuan(2016-2020 & 2022-2024) and the Minister of National
Science and Technology Council(2022-2024). He was also the
Chairperson both of the NARLabs(National Applied Research
Laboratories)(2020-2024) and TASA (Taiwan Space Agency)(2023-
2024). Dr. Tsung-Tsong Wu is an outstanding scholar on Science and
Technology policies.
