Yu-Ning (Charlotte) Chiu currently serves as a Policy Analyst and International Relations Manager at DSET. Her research focuses on economic security, foreign policy analysis, and strategic dynamics in the Asia-Pacific region. She possesses extensive experience in research assistance and has practical expertise in inter-ministerial coordination within Taiwan’s government, international communication, and diplomatic affairs related to Taiwan’s participation in international organizations, such as APEC.

Previously, she worked at a Taiwanese think tank, the Institute of Political Science at Academia Sinica (Taiwan), Nomura Research Institute (Japan), and prominent media brands, where she researched Taiwan’s regional economic integration policies in the Asia-Pacific and the impact of emerging technologies across various countries. She holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Relations from National Taiwan University, where she graduated with highest honors.
