Zsehong Tsai

Dr. Zsehong Tsai is currently a professor at the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering at National Taiwan University, earning his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. He has previously served as the Executive Secretary and the Director of the Science and Technology Advisory Office at the Executive Yuan. His research focuses on the management and quality monitoring of broadband and wireless local area network traffic, establishing network performance models and queueing analysis, packet classification/shaping/scheduling, quality of service network management, as well as energy-saving technologies and network planning for multi-network integrated services. He also works on developing models and efficiency improvements for protocols such as TCP/MPLS/GMPLS and WLAN/cellular networks. Dr. Tsai has a keen interest in establishing innovative network service testing environments and has led several broadband network testing projects.
