Lilly M. Lee

Lilly Min-Chen Lee is a Doctoral Fellow at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, where she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. after earning her Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the same institution. Lilly studies how the Chinese Communist Party is reshaping its approach to national security under Xi Jinping and focuses on how the CCP defines threats, particularly ideological ones, and works to eliminate them before they take shape. She previously served as an external consultant for the International Republican Institute and the Australian Strategic Policy Institute. Lilly’s research at DSET focuses on China’s drone industry and warfighting capabilities.
